1. Introduction

This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data when using UusLove, in compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Law 13.709/2018) and other applicable regulations.

3. Scope

This Policy applies to everyone who uses our platform and services, including the public website, couple pages, and purchase/checkout flows.

4. Data we collect

We collect the following information:

• Registration and content information: couple name, relationship start date, personalized message, up to 7 photos, optional music/URL, and contact email.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe (such as email and transaction identifiers). We do not store complete card details on our servers.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, device/browser, pages visited, date/time, and performance or error logs.
• Verification and security: tokens and risk signals generated by Google reCAPTCHA, when enabled, to prevent abuse/fraud.
• Communications: records of transactional emails (e.g., page link/QR Code) sent through our providers.

5. Legal bases (LGPD)

We process your data based on the following legal grounds:

• Performance of a contract (service delivery and publication of the couple page).
• Consent (e.g., publication of photos and content submitted by you).
• Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations (tax/accounting records).
• Legitimate interest (security, service improvement, fraud prevention), always with impact assessment and respect for your rights.

6. How we use your data (purposes)

We use your data to:

• Create and customize the couple page.
• Process payments and send transactional emails (e.g., link and QR Code).
• Prevent fraud and keep the platform available and secure.
• Provide support and exercise/defend rights in legal proceedings.
• Enhance functionality, performance, and user experience (essential analytics).

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with processors essential to operating the service:

• Stripe (payment processing).
• Google Cloud/Firestore and Firebase Storage (database and photo storage).
• SendGrid or equivalent service (email delivery).
• Google reCAPTCHA (anti-spam/abuse protection).

We may also share data when required by law/authority or to protect the rights of UusLove and third parties.

8. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Brazil. In such cases, we adopt appropriate safeguards, such as contractual clauses and equivalent security standards.

9. Retention and deletion

We retain your data while your account/page remains active and for as long as needed to fulfill this Policy's purposes.

Records required by law (e.g., tax/accounting) may be kept for the applicable statutory period.

When you request deletion, we remove data we are not legally obliged to keep and anonymize what is possible.

Public content (couple page/photos) stops being displayed after deletion or unpublishing.

10. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures such as encryption in transit, role-based access control, logging and monitoring, backups, and secure development practices.

Still, no system is 100% immune; report any suspected incident through our contact email.

11. Your rights (data subjects)

Under the LGPD, you may request:

• Confirmation of processing and access to data.
• Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
• Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data.
• Portability, when applicable.
• Information about sharing and the consequences of not providing consent.
• Withdrawal of consent and objection to processing based on legitimate interest.

We respond within a reasonable time and, when applicable, within 15 days for confirmation/access.

12. Content you submit (photos and messages)

You declare that you hold the rights/authorizations for the content you submit (e.g., photos).

Avoid sending sensitive data (racial/ethnic origin, health, beliefs, etc.) — we do not need it to provide the service.

Photos and messages may become public on your page; review them before publishing.

13. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies for login, session, and security, and—when enabled—strictly necessary first-party analytics and performance identifiers.

You can manage cookies in your browser; some features may be limited.

14. Children and adolescents

The service is not intended for children under 13. Users aged 13–18 must have supervision and authorization from a guardian.

If we identify data from minors without proper consent, we will delete it.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. We will publish the revised version with the new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, may send additional notice.

16. How to exercise your rights

Submit your request to hello@uuslove.com with (i) the right you wish to exercise, (ii) the details needed to locate your data, and (iii) proof of identity to prevent unauthorized access.

If we act as a processor for another entity, we will direct you to the appropriate controller.
